Mortgage Rates Decline in MBA Survey for Week Ending -December 2nd; Avg. Rate is at 4.18%; Refinance Activity Now at a Volume of 76.0% of Total Mortgage Weekly Activity

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced their most current data (averages for contract interest rates): 

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (FHA Loans) 
= 3.98 % (was 4.05 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Conforming Loans, less than $417,500)
= 4.18 % (was 4.23 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Jumbo Loans, greater than $417,500)
= 4.52 % (was 4.59 %);

15 Year Fixed Interest Rate = 3.53 % (was 3.58 %);

The level of refinance activity was reported to be at 76.0 % 
of the total activity for the weekly survey.  The level of
refinance activity for week ending November 25th was 73.9 %.

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced their most current data (averages for contract interest rates): 

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (FHA Loans) 
= 4.05 % (was 4.03 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Conforming Loans, less than $417,500)
= 4.23 % (was 4.23 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Jumbo Loans, greater than $417,500)
= 4.59 % (was 4.56 %);

15 Year Fixed Interest Rate = 3.58 % (was 3.54 %);

Mortgage Rates Are Slightly Lower in MBA Survey for Week Ending -October 28th; Avg. Rate is at 4.31%; Refinance Activity Now at a Volume of 77.1% of Total Mortgage Weekly Activity

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced their most current data (averages for contract interest rates): 

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (FHA Loans) 
= 4.09 % (was 4.11 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Conforming Loans, less than $417,500)
= 4.31 % (was 4.33 %);

30 Year Fixed Interest Rate (Jumbo Loans, greater than $417,500)
= 4.69 % (was 4.68 %);

15 Year Fixed Interest Rate = 3.63 % (was 3.62 %);
